I’ve been obsessed with the concept of living in an RV or skoolie since my third cross-country road trip. With my family & friends on the east coast and my in-laws & husband on the west coast, having mobility without sacrificing the comforts of home is really important (not to mention hotels are $$$).
So, naturally, I’ve been collecting and pinning examples of tiny, ridiculously chic spaces for when I finally decide to do that bus conversion or buy an airstream. Here are 10 examples of living small to inspire you (and me!). Click the images for more renovation details & pictures!
Designed by Rachel Horn & her husband, this project had an estimated budget of $20,000 (though they said it went waaaay over budget during the reno). Vibe is Moroccan luxe and it looks totally live-able.
Completely re-done vintage trailer by Tiffany of TheFancyFarmGirl.com. Seriously, look how adorable this is. Emphasis is on white with cute, retro-style details, and bright pops of color.
Skoolie renovation! The hardwood floors and refreshingly simple details make this bus seem beyond warm & welcoming.
Light, airy, and sleek 23-foot Airstream. The brushed aluminum fixtures and the shape give it a futuristic feel, but the palette and decor grounds it.
Meet Flo, she’s the envy-worthy Airstream of a well-known lifestyle blogger and photographer Sarah Loven (i’ll be writing a feature on her later this week!) This is precisely the bohemian flair that I’d love to have in my future mobile home. <3
That’s all for now, though I’ll definitely be doing a follow-up with more RV, skoolie, & airstream decor porn.
